The pipes or channels used for filling, evacuating and filtring water as well as those used for the transmission of lighting fixture must be insulated by using Swell Flex Expanding Waterstop. If these transmission areas will be prepared during concreting Swell Flex must be applied only around the pipes (Figure 1). If the transmission areas will be adjusted by boring holes after concreting, Swell Flex must be applied both around the pipe and onto the joints where non-shrink mortar intersects with the concrete (Figure 2).
